Free wireless internet in Petergof

The universal communication operator “OBIT” has developed its own WiFi-network on the territory of the state museum-reserve “Petergof”. Now all visitors to the Lower Park will be able to use free and unlimited access to the Internet using a laptop, smartphone or PDA. The project is implemented at no cost.

During the construction of a WiFi network in the museum complex, D-Link equipment was used as a wireless access point. In total, 2 WiFi repeaters are currently installed, and their number will increase to 20 in the future.

In addition, on the roof of the Eastern Voronikhinsky colonnade, the OBIT company installed a webcam that carries out an online broadcast of the Samson, fountains of the Grand Cascade and the Grand Palace.
