AgileDays Report in Yekaterinburg
The first in Russia regional conference on flexible technologies - AgileDays Ekaterinburg '2010 was held in Yekaterinburg . It was really interesting to listen to how Agile is used in large companies. Under the cut a small report, if it reads my guide, I ask you to read it, as a report on a business trip :)

The most interesting part of the report for me was the organization of the work of testers in one of the largest software companies in Russia. I was very pleased with the ideology of Agile implementation: instead of mindless cloning, everything is very meaningful.

Mikhail Zaborov / CustIS
Among all the reports, Michael’s report was the best for my taste, becausewe have the same views with him and the design theme is usually dispensed with in flexible methodologies :) The integration of component and layer-by-layer architecture development was very helpful (I highly recommend their blog )

Nikita, as always, performed brilliantly. Professional, what else to say? Now the topic of work with requirements in Agile is one of the most popular: different techniques are being worked out, processes are being adapted, special workshops are being created. I recommend everyone to listen and see even those “who are in the know,” very much streamline knowledge.

The main plus of the workflow that Ilya talked about is the absence of critical errors since its introduction. More than worthy result.
Askhat Urazbayev / ScrumTrek
On positive emotions, there is no better report. Askhat called on the stage to Alexander Bndju, so that he tried to "sell" him pair programming as an engineering practice. Have bargained to the "triple" programming. The last part of the report is simply awesome: Askhat explained how to effectively interact with difficult customers, for example, with “techies” who strive to “make the project architecture”. :)

Alexander spoke about two behavioral strategies: the strategy of “Victim” and the strategy of “Author”. And showed how the shift from one strategy to another happens when using Agile. Anyone who wants to pump their "social skills" - the report is required to view.
All the speakersworked out lunch answered questions from the audience. The first time I took part on the other hand, a very cool experience :)

I talked about our experience in adapting the ICONIX process to collect and analyze requirements in Scrum (although it was a little faster than expected :), then I answered questions. Some even liked it. I tried to describe the adaptation of the process in terms of lean manufacturing.
Marat Bakirov / Microsoft
This is the first sponsorship report that was interesting to listen to and which was really in the subject of the conference. It was interesting to hear about the new features of TFS, which in its latest reincarnation fully supports flexible development.
Konfa liked it very much, in contrast to many similar ones, it is easy to get experience on it, which you can immediately use in your projects, understand things more deeply, it seems, and spread your knowledge on the shelves. It was also very useful to talk with colleagues, including informally, to discuss the problems and challenges that we meet.
