The iPad is probably the most convenient device for surfing the Internet, excluding, of course, sites using flash technology. But still, even a simple browsing of pages on facebook or vkontakte could be much more convenient. For example, the usual system of tabs instead of the buggy mode of windows would be very useful on a device of this type. And we know that the comfortable and sleek design of Google Chrome would be an excellent replacement for the standard iPhone browser, which wouldn’t make much sense on a large-screen iPad.
True, it is unlikely to hope so, given the strained relations between Google and Apple. Anyway, not in the near future, for sure. But why not dream? So designer Markus Schmeiduch set out to “port” Google Chrome to an iPad in his image editor. Interestingly, the work turned out to be very convincing, in addition to adapted tabs, synchronization of bookmarks and settings, special gestures, some chips from
Chrome OS were even involved.
