Myths of the Russian software market

The Russian software market is wild, like everything else in our country. One of the largest distributors of the Russian Federation is suing a major vendor. And remember the 4-year-old searches ? There have even been murders . Rollbacks are flourishing. The software market, of course, is not as criminalized as, for example, the real estate market, but there is a lot of what the professional community considers to be “black myths”. Good material on this topic with no less interesting discussion. But a look at these myths is no longer on the other side.
If someone thinks that the IT industry and, in particular, software sales is such an oasis with white and fluffy, cool guys in jeans that came out of the admin environment, then know that this is a myth. But the “black myths” are, alas, not myths.
