Polaroid as a photo artist tool

The open art project Polaniod.Net declares its mission as: “creating the largest polaroid photo gallery on the planet”. At the time of writing this free translation, the site has already submitted more than 48,000 photos of various authors and topics. Of course, not all of them were created with the assistance of the muse and for the benefit of culture. But now, placed in the context of the gallery, have already become objects of art.

And this is what happens: on Polaroid - it would seem, one of the main symbols of photo-utilitarianism - you can take real artistic photographs.
The approach of the creators of the site is serious: they do not just collect pictures, but systematize them, and also from time to time hold thematic contests among the participants (read: everyone ).
In addition, the site can look at the cameras themselves, inspiring members of the community, find out the names of models and films, read about all sorts of polaroid tricks, etc., and so on.
