Welcome all interested in Android!
Recently, interest in this platform has become obvious, therefore, within the GTUG (Google Technology User Group), we also decided to focus on it and consider it in more detail in terms of development.
So remarkably it happened that Alexey Golubev and Dmitry Lukashev (working in the Yota company) offered to conduct a series of lectures and practical classes in Android programming. Lecturers have very serious development experience for Android (specifically, they are engaged in Android from its release, before that they were engaged in other mobile platforms).
It will not be a retelling of tutorials from developer.android.com, there are a lot of subtle points, examples, details in the presentations that came from the development experience. The seminars will present a course of three presentations lasting about 2 hours.

To participate in the first meeting of the “Java and Android basics” no special knowledge (except for understanding the basics of Java) is required.
To participate in the second and third meetings (“Android UI”, “Android in Action”) - it is practically necessary to try running several test programs on the emulator, otherwise the meeting material will be incomprehensible.
Meetings will be held at the Ingria Technopark (St. Petersburg, Obukhovskoy Defense Ave., 70, building 2, metro station Elizarovskaya) on the 7th, 10th and 14th of June. Seminars begin at 19.00 and end at about 22.00.
For those who can not participate in seminars, but still interested in - on the site GTUG SPb (www.spb-gtug.ru) will be posted a video recorded on streaming.

At the moment, more than a hundred participants have registered to participate in the meeting and registration has ceased.
