
Throughout the existence of the
AdSense advertising platform, Google has never reported what percentage of the revenue from advertisements placed through AdSense on third-party sites is received by their owners. It was clear that Google takes about half of its revenue, but no one knew the exact figures.
On May 24, under pressure from website owners, as well as European and American regulators, the Google AdSense team published a
post on its blog that revealed information on the distribution of advertising revenue. According to this post, site owners receive 68% of the revenue from contextual AdSense advertising and 51% of advertising in search results for their site. According to Google, these conditions have not changed for contextual advertising since the very launch of AdSense in 2003, for revenues from site search since 2005.
According to The Wall Street Journal , the owners of many popular resources, in particular, the New York Times Company, work with Google AdSense on special, obviously, more favorable terms.
Do I understand correctly that Yandex pays the participants of its contextual advertising system only 45% of the income from advertisements placed on their website? From the

The amount of partnership remuneration is 45% of the cost of advertising on the site. From the accrued remuneration, Yandex retains and transfers the personal income tax to the budget of the Russian Federation (13%).
