Hello, hello!
I decided to translate a small article describing trends in increasing the resolution of mobile devices.
Nowadays, the average monitor resolution is about 120 PPI, while the average print resolution is about 300 DPI. But very soon everything will be different. After all, Motorola Droid already has a resolution of 250 PPI, and the new iPhone promises 326 PPI.
This means that for the first time in displays, the picture quality will be higher than in the printed edition. Of course, this will not happen immediately, it will take about 5-8 years for similar technologies to appear in 70% of the devices produced.

What it threatens us with:
1. Excellent picture on mobile devices (well, and desktop monitors).
2. Designers will no longer need to adapt the printed graphics to the screen resolution.
3. The web design will no longer need to draw layouts at the pixel level.
4. New functionality.
