May 28th was held on Friday StartFormers. The idea of getting startups out of stuffy offices to the real nature appealed to all participants. Everyone who came to StartFormers really faced all the conventional realities of creating their own business at an abandoned military base in Sertolovo. To begin with, there was no familiar distribution of the Internet, and he didn’t need it, because there was no time to hold lectures in nature and write on twitter. Pens, notebooks, laptops remained at home that day. The only thing that was in constant use was the photo and video equipment. Naturally there were small cons and overlays. Naturally, it would not have been possible for anyone to hold a new event format 100% perfectly, but from myself I can say that everything turned out absolutely.
Beg take small notes on the results. ')
Arrival at StartFormers was marked by the arrival of the BTR and the ceremonial execution of a laptop, which I personally did not expect, just as I did not expect a trip on this very BTR. And after a small breakfast in field conditions, team tests began. You can try to pick up words for everything that happened there, but I'm afraid that this is truly indescribable. Even photos and videos can not tell about all the adventures. The weather had a little pumped up because of what the organizers had to postpone some contests, but this ultimately did not affect the general mood and mood at all.
Fighting on a rope at a height of 3 meters, a game of throwing a sleeping bag with a hammock through a volleyball net, paintball, preparing sushi on your own, jumping from a height of 5 meters, and at the end a kebab. In short, what was. It would probably not be possible to select something interesting, since everything was interesting.
The most important thing is that during the testing process the teams met, became friends and during the tests the participants showed such qualities of character as persistence, perseverance, action planning. It was a real, general team game. And just what is necessary for startups in life. After all, a startup implies just teamwork. Both their leaders and their shadow cardinals quickly became apparent, but without this, business is also not possible. I especially liked the team of "Programmers" and "Lyrics", although I did not want to single out anyone. Each team also had its own unique test passing style.
here is a small photo report and a couple of videos from StartFormers
The idea of StartFormers is to create extreme tests, during which beginner start-ups will get the necessary “combat skills”.
