All-Ukrainian student competition is over!

Google , which conducted a student competition of business plans in Ukraine, announced the winners. Students of 4-6 courses of all Ukrainian universities could participate in the competition. Their task was to unite in a team of 2-4 people and offer a business plan for an Internet startup that can be best implemented in Ukraine and generate income.

Contest terms were previously published on Habré: www.habrahabr.ru/blog/google/7351.html

As Google claims with pride, this type of competition was the first in Eastern Europe in the Middle East and Africa.

Until May 25, Google received more than 30 jobs (something and not much for all of our students). Of them won prizes:

1. Oleksandr Lapyuk and Artem Yaremchuk. The students of the Institute of International Relations proposed the “Interactive tourist guide to the cities of Ukraine” .

2. Students of the National University. T.G. Shevchenko Alexander Popov, Alexey Orlov and Ivan Drobishevsky proposed the project Іnvest2Ukraіne .

3. The national team of universities. Shevchenko, Kiev-Mohyla Academy and KPI among 4 students: Mikhail Bodnarchuk, Ilya Savchenko, Nikolay Palamarchuk, Olga Kratskova, called her Dream-In business plan. This is a multiplayer online game.

The prizes between the winners were distributed as promised: the team that won the first place should get laptops, the second - the PDA, and the third - the video cameras. But probably, the main thing in this competition for the winners is not prizes, but the opportunity to declare oneself and get an assessment of the largest IT company.

The award ceremony will be held on Friday, June 8th in Kiev.

Congratulations to the winners on behalf of Habr and all the IT people in ua and ru-neta!
