How Macsolutions repaired my laptop

The story began with the fact that my laptop lost an image on December 27th. Totally. Neither the display nor the output for an external monitor signal was not given. I turned to the company where I bought a laptop for help in troubleshooting. It turned out that the nVidia video chip burned, and this marriage was recognized by the manufacturer, and the warranty replacement was made even after the warranty period expired. And then the strange began.

Friendly and friendly guys (Ilya and Ilya, Maksolyushens) assured that even today, on December 30, they will issue a request for repair and today will make an order for the delivery of a spare part (and this is nothing more or less, the entire motherboard). I will have to wait about a month, maybe a little longer. Based on the stated expected date of repair, I figured that by the certification at the university my laptop would come to life, and everything would be tip-top.

After a month and a half, I began to wonder how things were going, for obvious reasons. I was tearfully assured that the ordered part had stopped at customs in connection with the introduction of a new procedure for processing such goods, and it took some time to carry out customs clearance. The rationale, as habravchane know, is weighty - at the beginning of the year there were tangible problems with customs.
A month later, I began to call and ask weekly (and sometimes more often) how did the order number 7891 go there? “The part has not arrived yet,” the secretary answered me. Up to today, I, as scheduled, weekly called and received a response that was not significantly different from the previous one.
5 (!) Months of repair is out of the ordinary, so I want to ask if there are any unlucky people among us like me? Do you really need more than 5 months to carry out such repairs? Maybe experts from other Mac services will say something sensible?
