The consulting firm Reputation Institute ranked the companies with the best reputation. In total, the list of 28 companies included 12 American companies, 11 European and 5 Asian.
Google topped the ranking with a score of 78.62 points.

As noted, the top three were united by such a factor as innovation. So, the top Google and Sony deserved the admiration of the introduction of new technologies that have changed the lives of consumers. Google, for example, offers free mail and maps, and Sony has been releasing popular music players and TVs for more than half a century.
Transparency has proved to be another important factor in strengthening global reputation. In this category, the winner is also Google. The company that left the Chinese market, refusing to censor search results, thus showed that the principles for it are more important than profit.

Casper Nielsen, managing partner of the Reputation Institute, noted that the most important thing for corporations is awareness of the importance of global consumer opinion. To earn a global reputation is really difficult, but in the future it will ensure growth in international markets. Companies need to know how to earn trust outside their countries.
Researchers rated the influence of 600 organizations with the highest incomes in their homeland. Then, consumers from 24 states were asked to identify 54 leading companies. On a
100-point scale, the products of enterprises, innovations, job creation, management, civic leadership and financial activities were evaluated.
