Video i9000 Galaxy S running Android

One of the first copies in Russia of a new smartphone of the company, namely the Galaxy S, running Android and using the TouchWiz 3.0 interface (the same will be used in Wave), got into the hands of testers from hi-tech.mail.ru.

As it was already possible to understand from our previous publications on Habré, in 2010 the company intends to actively declare itself on the market of high-performance mobile devices: these will be devices on the proprietary platform bada, devices on win-solutions, and, as is clear from the title of the post , Android based devices.

Earlier on Habré it was already written that the official position of Google in relation to vendors is the following: "not the platform developer should adapt to the vendors' terms, but vice versa - device manufacturers should keep up with the software developers and try to keep up with the innovations."

The position is clear, Google is a giant in the information technology market, who cannot wait for every manufacturer of products for its decisions, especially since their pricing policy does not include any royalties, as is the case with Microsoft products, for example. This solution has certain drawbacks, which are described in the link above, but there are undoubted advantages - only the largest and most prepared players will decide to enter the race, and, as we see, Samsung is among them.

The presented device collected in itself probably all the innovations and successful solutions both directly to the company and the global industry as a whole: there is also Wi-Fi version n and Bluetooth version 3 (yes, we are aware of the joke that any Bluetooth the thing gets better :), and the screen is based on Super AMOLED technology; in general, see for yourself:
