New ULV processors
Several ULV recruits have appeared in the series of mobile processors from Intel. In short, the new representatives of the Core i3, i5 and i7 lines have become a third more compact, a third more productive and 15% more economical.

Leafing through the specifications of the processors on the official website, I managed to find only 4 new ULV processors, namely Intel Core i3-330UM , i5-430UM , i5-540UM and i7-660UM .

As you can see, they are all built on a 32-nanometer process technology, and the calculated thermal power (TDP) of all new products is only 18W. The new “stones” will work on the recently announced Mobile Intel 5 Series chipset.
All processors have an onboard Intel HD Graphics integrated video system and Hyper-Threading technology, but everyone knows about Intel Turbo Boost except for i3-330UM.
Together with the processors of the Core line, two new models appeared from the Pentium and Celeron lines - U5400 and U3400, respectively. But something tells me that they will not meet in the devices so often.
The new ULV processors have already announced more than 40 models of ultra-compact laptops from different manufacturers - for example, Acer Aspire 1830 and ASUS UL30 . And far, apparently, things will only get better.
So we are waiting. Although I, for example ... have been waiting much more for the dawn of battery technology - I have no complaints about processors for a long time.
