Wordpress turns 7 today

Today, exactly 7 years ago , the first release of the most popular blogging engine, Wordpress, was released.

About his popularity speak, at least, two facts:

1. at the time of this writing, 9,417,032 copies of the latest version 2.9.2 only were downloaded from the official site!
2. it is used as cms for such well-known publications as: techcrunch , sixrevisions , webdesignerdepot and many, many others.

I would like to wish Wordpress further improvement, reducing the appetite to memory;) and new, useful functions!
