Pandigital Company (manufacturer of electronic photo frames) on Monday announced the release of an e-reader with a color touchscreen -
Pandigital Novel E-book Reader .

The book will work on Android.
Pandigital cooperates with a large bookseller Barnes & Noble, who agreed to integrate his online store with a new device (more than 1 million e-books are being offered).
Novel will have a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800x600, weighing about 450 grams, have Wi-Fi for buying and downloading books, and use the Internet.
The battery charge will be enough for 6 hours in reading mode (only, in my opinion, it is catastrophically small). The built-in memory capacity is 1 GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB with an SD / MMC card.
')
The software will include a virtual keyboard, a built-in dictionary and the ability to view both in horizontal and vertical mode. Novel with an ARM 11 processor will play music and video and support PDF, ePub and HTML formats.
The device will have a built-in e-mail application and you can use Barnes & Noble's LendMe technology with it (let your friends read the books for 14 days).
The main advantage of this device will be its price - $ 200 (recommended retail). Pandigital plans to launch sales in June.
