IBM finally lost its leadership in the server market
HP has long been the world leader in the number of servers sold, but the company could not bypass IBM at a total cost, because IBM servers are much more expensive and are sold with a higher margin. And now HP has finally done it. According to Gartner statistics for the I quarter.2010, HP sold servers for $ 3.4 billion, increasing its market share to 31.5%.
