Made a site. A month has passed, the flight is normal

A little more than a month has passed since we and our partner quietly opened kliniks.ru .
The goal of the project: the creation of an authoritative “people's” rating of medical institutions, the integration into the network of those who have not been there yet, the creation of patient-hospital feedback; we also wanted to cover not only traditional hospitals, clinics, but also to take cosmetology, veterinaries, fitness, plastics, etc.

Before the start

In total, development took about 2 months, taking into account the search and discharge of information for filling. With the design did not bother, made it easier, without any extra ruches. Since it is possible to engage in glossing and “hanging the functional” on any project for an arbitrarily long time, we set priorities as follows:
  1. Creating a catalog engine and reviews
  2. Search and fill the database of institutions. At least with addresses and phone numbers, better with websites and e-mail.
  3. Comments on reviews
  4. User Cabinet
  5. Search by database
  6. Beta Start

Rivals

I note that the project has one main competitor (mosclinic.ru), one smaller (med-id.ru), and a whole battery of small and whipped up (which does not prevent them from being hung with ads).

Have already achieved

As any young ambitious guys, we want, of course, to make the best and most popular of all.
So far we can boast the most comprehensive list of veterinary clinics (honestly taken from two different “most complete catalogs”) and the most concise layout among all competitors. Well, and more - attendance at 600 hosts per day in less than a month after the start. And this, I note, for some reason, we are still not in a hurry to index Google, while Yandex has covered 60-70% of the pages.

Future plans

As the first reviews showed, the people: a) do not like to write; b) still thirsty for the community and questions and answers online. Honestly, I am against such a “doctor, I have this and that thing that hurts me?”, But the audience demands, and that means we will do it.
It also plans to integrate with Yandex.Maps and create a mobile version. We are even thinking about geo-targeting in it ...
When we collect the necessary mass of reviews, we will launch a rating, see what happens.
Finally, we want to ensure communication with institutions from our catalog - at least at the level of organizing an electronic appointment. There are rare clinics that have already implemented such a thing on their websites, but I want it to be for everyone!
