TTS - Text To Speech

Due to official necessity I dealt with the market of industrial engines for text-to-speech.
The market is not to say that it would be huge, but old enough.
In Russia, our own developments are represented in the Speech Technology Center (they are also the MDGs ).
Among the popular Nuance (TTS Milena). Budget project 09 (commercial project 099) is implemented on the basis of Nuance. The integrator was Logictel , which is actually Satel .
In Russia, this product is represented by Open Communication, Voxcom and many others.

Another less quality product from the company ScanSoft (TTS Katerina), admit so-so.

Another product is provided by Loquendo (TTS Olga). In Russia at the moment, according to my information, no one is yet. If I am mistaken, I will be pleasantly surprised.

With TTS setup, everything is relatively simple. The developer must operate with phonemes of a specific language. And only then normalization occurs, when the pronunciation of individual words is completed to the ideal. For this there are Speech API, VoiceXML, SML, etc.
