Augmented Russian Reality: Sobranie Brand

Yesterday, Bruce Sterling discovered (and reprinted on his blog ) the news that REDMADROBOT created a software part for the Sobranie promotional stand , with augmented reality used for drawing in the Art Light style and for navigating inside the stand program:

Stirling's postscript was:
')
- Okay, pretty girl speaking: pretty girls drawing a bouquet of red roses , or formerly glossy capitalist mall?

(I specifically quote him in English, just as he himself quoted the April news about REDMADROBOT in Russian.)

Isn't it strange to see how stereotypes slowly disappear in the head of this author of cyberpunk prose? Soon there will be twenty years since the anti-Soviet coup took place, and Sterling continues to call even “pretty girls” even “modern girls,” many of whom either don’t remember the Soviet Union, or even were born after it.

And for all of us, this Stirling blog post makes it possible to trace one more milestone in the creative path of that very REDMADROBOT team, which last year suspended the pyramid over the Kremlin in augmented reality.
