Another Python Community

I have been intrigued for a long time by the question why there is no decent portal on the python programming language in runet? It seems to be not difficult to do, there are a huge number of people who know the language, but no matter what, there are only a few sites about python, and even those that were built on PHP. The only site that has changed since then is the Sagalayev forum, the rest either abandoned their sites, or abandoned the idea of portals altogether, as if it were an unpromising trend. But as they say, a holy place is never empty, and I decided to fill this niche with my brainchild: http://pyplanet.org/

I understand that usually a new site is put on the blog “I am PR”, but before that it would be nice to get a portion of criticism from future potential users of the site (read - python programmers), and not just from the general public.

You can go in and use any functionality of the portal, do not be afraid to test, firstly, not everything immediately gets to the main page, and secondly, the moderators will clean the sites from the tests before the official opening.

At the moment, any comments are taken into account, relevant changes in any aspects will be made on them, from design to new functionality. Also, the site requires initial assistance in filling content. This is especially true of the forum. It will be great if the topics that you post on other sites, you also posted on our portal. Your response rate increases, and the necessary initial content appears.

Naturally in 2010, not a single site can do without twtter account, VKontakte.ru group , as well as the official jabber conference pyplanet@conference.jabber.ru.

PS: I will closely follow your comments and will try to timely mark everything.
