SSL for Google search

Google developers are constantly working on the security of their products. When Gmail was launched in 2004, it was already possible to use the SSL protocol to work with it. (Recall that this is a cryptographic protocol that provides a secure connection between the client and the server.) SSL support was later added for services such as Calendar, Docs, Sites, and some other products. Also earlier this year, SSL began to be used by default for all Gmail users.

Today, using SSL directly in Google search has become available . So far, more testing is underway, but a new secure version of Google search can already be tried .
