I read the RSS feeds from Steam and found that Altitude has “free weekends” (you can download and play until Monday). Screenshots of the game, to be honest, did not attract me, but having decided that I put the vine-sweet taram-steam on the download. However, the game had a fun and aggressive gameplay, suitable for short-term online battles (from 10 minutes to "set up the server").
The main point of the game: fly, do not crash into anything, shoot at the enemy. Now a little about the game server. If you have an external IP, you can download, configure and run your own Altitude server. I will not describe the configuration, I will say only that the most difficult thing for me was to configure “port forwarding” on my own router. Memory and processor consumes little. Two copies of the server for 14 people consume about 120 MB of memory and about 4% of the processor.

As a result of launching your own server, you not only help other people have a good time, but also get a server that you can reconfigure according to your tastes. And not the least important moment - before it ping is zero.
