Since today we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Peckman , I remembered my old project, which, unfortunately, has not been implemented:

There is an opportunity to put in Tver several walls of colored bricks, on which the characters of eight-bit games will be depicted.

Brick and workers who erect such walls gives the Tver Combine building materials, for which they thank. However, as you know, this is not enough. We still need to coordinate construction with the city authorities. And here everything becomes very difficult.

First try

I thought about building about two years ago. Captured can read here . And I began by trying to find owners of buildings and land. I suggested: we build to you for free, and you have a free wall, some kind of PR from this. But the answer to me was:

- All this must be coordinated with the management of architecture. We do not want to get involved.

Only comrades from the region agreed who asked them to build gazebos. But the private plot in the area was not interesting KSM.

Second try

I practically buried the idea, but recently the head of Tver, Vladimir Babichev, decided to create a positive image of the city with the help of bloggers. About this wrote habrachelovek and my countryman drunk . I have subjected the idea to rather harsh criticism, the essence of which is as follows:

- It is not enough to persuade bloggers to write well about Tver. It is necessary to create informational occasions. Bloggers will not catch up with boring topics.

And now I decided to go on the other side: from the Internet. If bloggers like the idea and they catch it, then the authorities will think, maybe it’s worth creating new sights in Tver?

Who is the promotion for?

Those who, in their childhood and youth, played eight-bit games, are now at an active age over 30 and even 40 years old. These are people full of strength and capabilities. For them, the heroes of games are not an empty sound and not child's play. For them, it is part of the culture.

There are not so many sights in Tver. Why not create new ones? The more we can show the guests of the capital, the better for everyone.

Why is the will of the authorities important?

Because it is a matter of scale of a city, or even a region. In the Tver region are now created economic zones with good infrastructure. Let's decorate them in a modern way!

Is it only the Tver region?

If the Tver region does not grow together, we are ready to work with any other close to us in the central region:
- Moscow,
- Yaroslavl,
- Smolensk,
- Pskov,
- Novgorod region.
