The idea arose to quickly and simply assemble a device that allows you to charge your mobile phone outdoors. The phone usually sits down at the most inopportune moment when it is imperative to make a very important call. The method of "chewing the battery" to mobile phones does not fit at all, so this post appeared.

The task comes down to finding an affordable and convenient supply of energy “for a rainy day”, which you can connect to your phone and make this most important call. And even better - charge the phone.
And then the arm was no longer too popular, compared with the finger, but still produced a square battery "Planet". The truth is, the claimed voltage is 4.5 V, but in theory this should be enough for charging the phone via miniUSB.
Having bought a new battery (25 rubles), he began experiments.
As it turned out, despite the voltage indicated on the battery, it provides the necessary 5 volts! Of course, the voltage drops with time, but you can charge with less voltage.
I connected the phone, it all worked as it was intended. The main thing here is not to confuse the pinout of the phone contacts, not respecting the polarity can be fatal. Although I measured the voltage on the contacts of the phone, it is missing, it looks like the built-in diode creates protection against a fool.
It remains to work only with the convenience of connection, for which the miniUSB wire was cut mercilessly and a suitable terminal size was bought (for a ruble twenty for a couple of dad-files, 2 pieces).
Black wire is a minus, red is a plus, although you already know that.
The terminals are neatly connected, securely crimped over the wire and beyond the insulation.
It remains only to wear a heat shrink to eliminate the circuit between the contacts.
