In the "nearest plans" Acer release of netbooks based on OS Chrome does not appear

In response to recent rumors that Acer was intent on presenting Chrome netbooks at Computex, the company said that this was not in its immediate plans.

Let me remind you that when Chrome OS appeared in July last year, Acer promised that in the second half of 2010 netbooks running under this operating system will be released.

However, now Acer, has sent an official letter, which stated that "Google's operating system is interesting, but its potential from the user's point of view needs further study." The letter also says that "Acer will closely monitor the development and improvement of Google Chrome and the evolution of Google’s product strategy as a whole."

However, despite the accurate pessimism of the message, it is not clear from the statement what is meant by “immediate plans”, so it is possible that the market will still see the Acer netbook based on Chrome OS before the end of the year. Moreover, based on Android, Acer demonstrated a netbook last year at Computex, that is, there is experience of successful cooperation with Google.
