Django 1.2 release released

It is done, comrades! Despite the almost two-month delay and constant postponement of the release date, today, May 17, 2010, the final version 1.2 of the magnificent framework saw the light of day.

Let me briefly remind you of the most noticeable changes that occurred and I will give a link to more detailed information.

• Added support for working with multiple databases in a single project ( article on Habré )
• Template caching (article on Django Advent )
• Template tag {% if%} has learned to understand comparison operators (article on Django Advent , Habré translation )
• In the admin panel they left JS bikes and finally started using jQuery ( article on Habré)
• CSRF mechanism update (article on Django Advent , transfer to Habré)
• Completely rewritten user notification system (article on Django Advent , transfer to Habré)
• Added support for date, time, number, etc. for each locale
