You, of course, know about the free map of
OpenStreetMap . This is a
real folk card , created
by the same people as you! This is the same opensource-project as Linux and Wikipedia.
Of course, like in other maps, there are errors in OpenStreetMap, but unlike Yandex.Maps, where errors are not corrected for years due to a complicated bureaucratic procedure (I'm not talking about
intentional errors ), everything is much simpler in OpenStreetMap and better for all of us.
With the help of the existing
OpenStreetBugs site for quite a long time, it is possible to report an error in two accounts and after some time get the corrected map, and a little later and
download the map ready for use to your computer or navigator . OpenStreetBugs is the simplest way everyone can
contribute to the compilation of a real folk card .
')
So,
everyone can help improve OpenStreetMap! Just go to the
openstreetbugs.schokokeks.org website, zoom in on a well-known place on the map, click on the problem location, describe the essence of the error, and click OK.
If you like it, you can become a full member of the OpenStreetMap project and tell where in your area there are shops, cafes, pharmacies, schools and so on.
