To implement the idea of
open production, there are certain economic prerequisites, one of the most significant is the idea of decomposition.
The essence of business decomposition into material and informational components is well covered in business and economic literature, however, it can be briefly described using the classic example of a supermarket and a store with a warehouse (the example demonstrates application of the idea of decomposition even to those areas that seem to be pure material) .
So:
There are 2 types of stores: 1. With a large warehouse, optimal from the point of view of maximizing the range of stored products and a small trading room where the order is made - a typical example of a building materials wholesale store 2. A typical supermarket. It seems to be something significant? But if you think about the difference between a store with a warehouse (counter) and a supermarket ... the main thing is most likely not the principle of self-service, a trolley and a long line at the checkout, but the opportunity to carefully consider the products offered in the store, respectively, the information store is more carefully implemented in the supermarket .to. the material storage function of products is more efficiently implemented in the first type of store. The tendency to strengthen the information component is now obvious, respectively, and supermarkets are popular even in the case of purchases of building materials. As can be seen, the material and informational entities are in conflict, we have to look for some correlation of them based on the profile of the average buyer. The idea of a complete, uncompromising decomposition is implemented in the form of an online store that performs an informational function, while the delivery service performs a material function.
By reconsidering this idea from the standpoint of open production, one can obtain the consequence of the separation of project activities from the actual instantiation of the object. Accordingly, under certain conditions of developing standards for the interaction of the material and informational components, it is possible to use the project (open) of a particular subject for instantiation on specially prepared industries that meet the standard of open production. Perhaps the idea will seem to someone not quite realistic, but as a typical example of the field of production that is ideally suited to the principles of openness, for example, sewing. The instantiation of a product in a garment industry with small series is not significantly different from the implementation of a piece instance (price – time parameters).
')
The basis for the technical implementation, regardless of the area, of the decomposition approach (especially for open production) is the development of standards for all stages of the product life cycle. And the integration of these standards into a system that is designed for navigation and search for projects (similar to sourceforge.net) creates a new economic niche, both for providers of intellectual property and for the sphere of material production.
I repeat my appeal to specialists who are interested in the subject of open production to leave their feedback and coordinates, indicating the scope of practical interests. There is a definition of boundaries and clarification of the essence of a startup, communication with relevant specialists is crucial.
Respectfully,
Michael
