Chaos Constructions Antique '2007 be?
The non-profit festival Chaos Constructions ( cc.org.ru ) has been held for several years and gives everyone the opportunity to try their strength in programming, computer graphics and music, animation and video, in other computer-related areas.
Also, this is a good chance to talk with colleagues, find new and see old friends, discuss software and hardware, remember old times :)
Traditionally, an exhibition of rare and unusual computers works at the festival - we will be happy to see your exhibits on it.
The festival is focused on the widest possible layers of computer lovers, both in terms of ease of participation in contests and low entry fees (participation itself is free of charge).

Unfortunately, in 2007, due to the lack of sufficient money, the computer festival Chaos Constructions cannot be held in the traditional form. This is for sure, if it does not happen, without exaggeration, a miracle (we must also take into account that the participants will not have time to prepare the works by August).
However, there is an idea to spend less money on money Chaos Constructions Antique '2007 ($ CCA7 :). It could be, in essence, an exhibition of old and unusual computers (remember CC'2004..CC2006), which will be more extensive, due to the number of exhibits and attention to each of them. Naturally, the exhibition will actually be an occasion to get together and talk on all kinds of computer and near-center topics and does not exclude the presence of modern computers there, demos on the projector, etc.
I emphasize that the difference from CC will be in at least three things:
- The room is relatively small (something like a seminar room at CC'2006)
- The organizers of CCA7 assume only the organization of the exhibition and the presence of a screen projector. Perhaps the wifi.
- The entrance fee will be low or none at all.
Ideas to organize contests in parallel can be considered if someone takes up their organization (completely - from accepting works, to digitizing them, preparing diplomas and counting votes).
In terms of this may be August or September 2007, Saturday and Sunday. Perhaps including the night in between.
At this stage, I would like to understand the interest of the people in such an event. From three points of view:
- Visit, see
- Provide your piece of iron, tell something to people about it
- Participate in the organization
