Remember DarBury - 50-80% discounts on cafes, spas, karting? We started 2 months ago (see the
post on Habré). Now we are in 4 cities, with 40 thousand users, more than 700 people participated in the best promotions. I want to tell you how we manage to grow rapidly, what we think about the scale of the business (Grupon’s new revenue forecast is 500 million dollars per year) and about today's stock with Starbucks.
What have we done in 2 months? How can you grow quickly?')
We started in 4 cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny, Perm). During the week there will be 3 more cities. The most difficult thing here is to find a local leader who can sell himself. The German project Cityid for 2 months was launched in 140 cities (the teams were selected, and retired, remotely). We think that for Russia and Ukraine such coverage is not needed, there are 15 million-plus cities that we need to concentrate on.
Scored a total of more than 40 thousand users. Somewhere 50% of the traffic comes from the mentioning of transactions in social networks and invitations to friends, both with the accumulation of bonuses who invited and disinterested, i.e. for nothing.
Got good numbers in terms of turnover and profit. Top stocks in Moscow recruited hundreds of users - 784 people (visiting BirHaus), 347 (races in karting), 327 (restaurant Code 011). See
all stocks .
Institutions perfectly perceive the model. Few people need to explain twice that they are given free advertising and user loyalty.
How big is the cake? New Group earnings forecast - $ 500 million. in year. For details, ask DST :) For the Russian market, you need to divide by 10 - less population, Internet users, purchasing power.
So what's up with Starbucks? We, like good entrepreneurs, are not used to being denied. And the Russian Starbucks, which we all like very much, for some reason does not want to do a joint action. Links to similar actions in the west do not convince them, they don’t want to get 2,000 new customers. Therefore, we asked our users to write a letter to the coffee shop marketing manager.

We will follow the development. Of course, we have plan B :)
