I believe that the plot is important in the game. After all, the text quest is sometimes more interesting than any Krayzisa. However, if we are talking about 3D worlds, then the player sometimes has a banal desire to explore the entire surrounding area in search of weapons, quests, or the same Easter eggs. In this case, the plot can go into the background. Indeed, thanks to the huge map, a certain feeling of “freedom” is created - the world seems endless, you can do anything in it and go anywhere.
