New tariff plans Skype and video conferencing in the next beta
Last night, Skype announced the introduction of a new system of tariff plans (subscriptions) for calls to fixed and mobile numbers. There are not so many details yet, but we are talking about a flexible system for creating our own personalized tariff plan.
The user can choose himself:
countries and regions that should be included in the subscription and whether this plan will include calls to mobile numbers, all over the city, or all in a given region / country
tariff plans with unlimited connection time or with packages of minutes (from 60 and more).
subscription validity period - from 1 month to a year.
Prices for new tariff plans start from € 0.89 (€ 1.02 with VAT) per month, which gives a price of € 0.01 per minute for calls to almost all over the world. For comparison: now the World tariff plan covers 40 countries, the new system will cover 170 countries.
