Is the book out? Getting a new one!

I am glad to inform everyone who is interested: “Reactive websites” have been published . In the official sale of the book will appear, apparently, in the second half of May. Theoretically, I can book a couple (dozen) copies from me - but I cannot vouch for delivery outside the default city :)

But the essence of the topic is not even that. About a year ago we started the book “Reactive websites” by a rather small team of authors, which slightly increased along the way, but the main line of thought was preserved - and we highlighted practical methods for increasing the productivity of sites (more than the client’s one).

Now is the time to get together and write material for the next book (the working title is “Overclocking WordPress”), in which it is planned to cover all aspects of the performance of this popular blogging platform. Apparently, there will be a lot of theoretical and just new material, but the focus so far is precisely in this area.

In general, everyone who wants to take part in the creation of this, the third in a row, book in the series of speeding up websites, is welcome. If you collect enough of a unique material on Joomla! and (li) Drupal - we will revise the concept of the book. It is better to write in private or to book@webo.name .

An important point: this time we will try to collect money from the audience (as is customary all over the world for electronic publications). The collection will be completely symbolic, in the region of 30 rubles. Therefore, all the authors something too perepadet. At the same time and see how IT-readers can be grateful :)
