Report on the conference Creative Future 2010 (Moscow)

Recently, a delegation of turbomilkers attended a conference for creative professionals at Creative Future 2010 . In Russia, there are not so many events for designers, so we went to Moscow without much thought. The place for the conference was chosen very successfully - the October Cinema on Novy Arbat.


We were a bit late for the beginning, but we managed to avoid the queue at the registration. We received magic bracelets that wrapped their arms themselves - they were a pass to the conference. They also issued a large paper bag with an Adobe logo with useless pieces of paper inside.


The most important place at any conference is, of course, the lobby. In the lobby of the cinema there were several very interesting stands. You could touch different tools for designers ...

... and even play with the Apple iPad, which is not yet sold in Russia.


I liked most of all the report by Viktor Lakisov “Do I need a creative approach in creating visual effects”, which was presented in the section on video and post-production. At first glance, it is not clear what the graphic designer could find out on this report. But it only seems that way. Attention to detail and creativity are needed everywhere.


But the performance of Andrei Razumovsky about drawing a mask is not very much. Works with Andrew cool, but the report turned out drawn out. For the time allotted to him, he could tell more interesting things if he prepared a little better.


In general, the program was quite extensive. It is a pity that it was not possible to visit all the reports.


I was surprised by the number of participants. There were too many people. On the one hand, it is good that there is an interest in design. On the other hand, it was not always possible to find an empty seat in the hall.


Among the visitors were many positive young people. It is very good.


There were very unusual characters ...


... I would pay extra such a designer for appearance.


I also remember the final banquet very much - it was the shortest banquet in my memory, therefore there is no photo. From the beginning, until the moment when all the snacks and drinks were over, it took about 9 minutes. :)

In general, the conference was not bad. Probably in the future it is worth making it more specialized - to separate the web, video and print.
