Sony will respond in court for the removal of the function "Other OS"

California PS3 user filed a class action lawsuit against Sony due to the removal of the Other OS function. The lawsuit states that this functional cut violates the offer between Sony and its customers and is “Unfair and misleading millions of unsuspecting customers”

The company apologizes, but says that it is quite logical action aimed at combating piracy.
Sony is trying to hide behind the EULA, believing that pressing a button on the screen (most often a child) can replace the laws.
At least one user received a refund from Amazon after complaining that his PS3 no longer does what it was originally intended for. After that, Sony said it would not reimburse retailers for user compensation.
