Garibaldi Project - Using Surface in Education

The video shows an example of introducing Microsoft Surface into an educational institution. Brown University, in collaboration with Microsoft Research and the British Library, introduced Surface tables in its institutions and participated in the development of the Garibaldi project.

The Garibaldi Project is a project of digitizing a monumental canvas and creating an infrastructure for working with digitized material using Surface touch capabilities. In the video, closer to the middle, all the possibilities of the project are shown in detail.
