Video interview at RIF with Maxim Spiridonov (podfm.ru) about podcasting

The resource podfm.ru has been around for quite a while; it is still the only podcast directory in Russia, alternative rpod.ru, and is now being repositioned into a podcast magazine. And the new concept of podfm.ru is very similar to the one that I proposed several years ago.
In an interview I say that it was seven years ago - I want to get better right away, seven years ago I wrote the concept of the PodcastRecords project, and I launched it directly two years later with almost no changes on the Samsung website (now it functions here podcast.samsungfunclub.ru , though no one has been involved in it for several years)
The nuances between PodcastRecords and PodFM.ru are very insignificant. The top podcasts are selected, for which the podcast studio built specifically for this is directly responsible. The studio produces podcasts that together represent an audio journal. In addition, in PodcastRecords, every podcaster could use for himself the capabilities of the studio absolutely free: podcast editors, sound engineers, etc., were at his disposal. The studio had its own production schedule (about 50 of its own podcasts per month), plus beginner podcasters would come in, get an educational program. I also conducted podcasting workshops, negotiated with manufacturers of mobile devices and publishing houses, and quite successfully. So, on Samsung players there were podcasts “Assembly Models” by Vlad Kopp (reincarnation of “Models for assembly”, which is marked by Samsung and is still coming out here , I also suggested, for which I met separately with Vlad Kopp). The podcast designer that I offered to help new podsters still functions. Unfortunately, Samsung two years later stopped financing the project, the project did not receive the promised promo, and I did not have the resources for this, I was engaged exclusively in content and strategic promotion.
In any case, I am very happy that thanks to Max Spiridonov, podcasting is experiencing a certain renaissance, although it is not clear whether the trend will continue.
