Service "Their" from Beeline.
About a week ago I learned about the existence of such a service. Sitting in a cafe I connected the service, but I could not install the Java application on my Nokia E61 telephone. As I found out later, the list of phones is rather small (Nokia: 3230, 6610i, 2650, 6230, 6233, 6680, 7610, N80; SonyEricsson: K600i, K750i, K800i; Motorola V3x).
Especially for people like me, whose phone is not included in the list, there is a program “Own” for installation on a computer (Windows-only version). The official site is invited to download this program. Under the link, I downloaded the archive with the complex name "79d7f4b7-0f31-4313-86ba-d0db9a3d8af8.zip". There are two files in the archive: iFollowInstall.EXE and upgrade.EXE. From the name of the first file, the technology begins to become clear. The iFollow app is the brainchild of Followap ...
After starting the program asks to enter your number and password for access. After setting up access was able to connect. Several times I tried to use the search specifying only the city. But the results were not in the direction of "Krasnoyarsk", nor with "Moscow". But it was possible to add a user by number. Messages reach the user, even if he has never heard of any "His". At the moment, instant messaging is absolutely free, until June 20, 2007.
