Do you patent technologies introduced in startups ?!

Dear users of Habr! I was interested in the issues of technology patenting and I would like to ask you - are you introducing any innovative technologies in your start-ups and not only? Do you patent them? If so, how much is patenting you? Do you use the services of patent attorneys? I wanted to create a survey, but then it turned out that I didn’t have one question.
PS Especially interested in patenting in Ukraine.
