Genius is defined as the highest degree of giftedness. In everyday life, we use this word when we characterize a person who has achieved incredible success in a certain area. Whether painting or installing plumbing. In a global sense, genius is a kind of “extra”, which manifests itself in virtually all areas of activity, for it is not for nothing that they say that a talented person is talented in everything. Genius cannot be acquired, it is given by nature, by God, by the cosmos ... As a rare feature of the human brain, due more to physiological prerequisites than to certain external interventions.
However, for sure, many will agree that a truly super-gifted person will always produce an oddity to the surrounding person. The image of a mad professor or a mentally unbalanced genius artist became stereotypical, and both literary works, films, and sometimes real life are full of these images.
Typically, these "oddities" are quite specific name - schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a truly unique mental and physiological disease that has a lot of varieties, can remain in latent form for years and is inherited. All types of schizophrenia have a number of common symptoms, for example, a feeling of being chosen (not always in a positive sense), which most often goes hand in hand with delusions of grandeur or (the flip side of the same coin) - an inferiority complex. Schizophrenics are logical and consistent, most often they are extroverts or they are extraversion in certain circumstances.
(I do not take into account here the exuberant forms of this disease).
The question is why genius and schizophrenia, like twin sisters, so often complement each other?

Is it possible that the human psyche in combination with the nervous system has some kind of framework established by some unknown, unwittingly (or consciously) going beyond which a person loses the ability to adequately perceive reality? Is it possible that with absolute domination of the intellect, the mind retreats, since the human brain simply does not withstand such a load?
What do you think?
And, by the way, the level of genius in modern psychology takes the countdown from 150 points CI. Have there been sober-minded people in your life whose CI significantly exceeded this figure?
