On the application of the law of conservation of energy to the economy and society

If we apply something like the law of conservation of energy to money circulation, we can argue something like this: a person received a salary (or other profit) for N rubles, and brought benefits to society for M. If M> N, then his activity is constructive and beneficial to society, M <N, then its activity is destructive. Take for example the mathematician Perelman. Obviously, he has M much more than N. But let's take Pan Nosik. He has a lot of money, but does the society have an equivalent benefit from it? I do not want to say anything against a particular Nosik, but as a whole, a society whose members strive to become Nosiki, and not Perelman, is gradually degrading and will become extinct. I will give a simple example. Suddenly, in our society, owning a car has become prestigious. And everyone who can, began to buy cars, and who cannot, began to buy on credit. The car - it would seem a convenient means of transportation. But hell, we have traffic jams and air pollution and the further, the worse it will be. And people do not realize that something needs to be changed. On the contrary, the masses of car owners require the expansion of roads, the demolition of tram lines and museums that are interfering with them. We have a classic case of positive feedback.
