Since 1972, Lee Friedman has been waiting for the right moment. It is finished.
For 35 years, being a doctor, then an insurance agent and a chef at the pizza restaurant, Friedman worked on Kromofons, an unusual alphabet in which 26 English letters are replaced with different colors.
It looks unusual, I would say, quite interesting.
Everything is very simple:
the letter “a” is replaced with bright yellow, “b” - blue, “c” - pink, “d” - gray, “e” -orange.
At least it will be interesting for designers as well as for children - they quite quickly perceive this alphabet and even begin to improve it by introducing different shapes and colors to designate objects.
There are drawbacks, but the idea is interesting.
Needless to say, the alphabet does not pretend to be widely distributed, but its author claims that another revolution will occur within 100 years and his system will triumph. We'll see…
