Web studios rating published on the Runet Rating project
On the project "Rating Runet" published rating of web studios in Russia for 2009. The companies are ranked by the volume of the active client portfolio. This is the first all-Russian rating, formed on the basis of objective indicators.
The rating methodology is based on the client portfolio of the web studio - all relevant sites that the company developed by the end of 2009. The score depends on the indicators of the thematic citation index (TCI) and PageRank (PR), the credibility of sites for Yandex and Google search engines. The rating is based on open data and its organizers can not influence its results.
In each rating web studio can be filtered by the price of services. The service allocates 7 price corridors: from 50 thousand rubles for a site to 700 thousand rubles and more. This feature allows potential customers to choose a developer based on their own site creation budget. Also, the price informer quite clearly shows the distribution of rating participants by price niches - both in the TOP-100 and in any other “slice”.

The rating is presented in the form of TOP-100 leading web studios of the Russian-language part of the Internet. The table includes developers of Russian-language sites with offices in Russia and the CIS countries.
The project also formed local ratings for the CIS countries, federal districts of Russia and major cities. The “Runet Rating” attracts accredited regional partners to control the data and the most correct representation of the market.
Market performance
The rating is complemented by market research based on data from the analytical portal CMS Magazine and a survey of web studios on the main indicators of their activities and expectations for 2010.
According to the survey:
* 7.2 billion rubles. - amounted to the market volume in 2009
* 51% - growth expected in 2010
* 180 000 rub. - the average cost of developing a corporate website in Moscow
* 35 business days - the average time to develop a corporate website
* 8-15 people - typical web studio staff
