Hiding not interesting (“harmful”) material / publication

After another viewing of the habr and searching for the necessary article, which I saw earlier on it, a thought-question sneaked into my head. Namely: Why on Habré there is no possibility to hide topics that are not of interest to users?
This question has already been raised somehow, but in a slightly different direction. Considered "writing off" from the blog as a whole, but somehow it stopped.
The essence of the flight of my fantasies is as follows - for the entire time I spent on this resource, I personally came across the fact that after reading some article, I realized that this is either complete garbage or doesn’t interest me at all, but only confuses the true path . And even more often - there was a desire to no longer stumble upon a particular publication. Although, after a little time has passed, what I do not like or enrages will go far to the second pages, and these publications are not remembered until the very moment, until you start looking for something thematic. And then tons of what you have once read come up, but you cannot understand from the title. whether you read it once and whether it is what you need or not. And everything starts from the very beginning - shoveling of material that you previously rated as useless for you. And here you start to think more and more often, and what if you hide what you are not interested in at all. What exactly would no longer come across.

On the other hand, I understand that there is a functional, code-named "Favorites." But this chip does not give what I need in full. In Favorites, I mark only what I am afraid of losing, or what I consider necessary to read, but later.
I don’t know whether such thoughts were attended by members of the community or not, but I’m interested to know the opinions of others. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe pounding. I understand the word “Search”, “Tag” and so on. However, remembering everything, or correctly formulating what is required does not always work out ... And it all appears and appears (I’m talking about complete garbage, which I previously rated as not worthwhile)
On the other hand, at the moment I have found for myself only one way out: karma for topics. Minusting the topics useless for me removes some of the problems, but not all at once, for sometimes the article is very good and I can’t afford to put a minus for it just because of that. that for me it is useless. And it turns out that I can not always rely on the color indicators of my attitude to the publication ...
Here, it seems, like everyone. I will be glad to all opinions and a healthy discussion.
