Code Game Challenge - Recruit Members
This year, within the framework of the open VolSU Programming Cup, the Code Game Challenge will be held.
It was created by students of Volgograd Polytech, they already have experience in creating CGC, you can see here habrahabr.ru/blogs/sport_programming/71355 , there are two videos about their past projects, here you can read what CGC is for those who do not know.
This year we decided to invite everyone to participate in it online. Thus, anyone who wants to participate in our CGC will have to send me a message in person until Sunday, with the name of the team, the list of participants and the desired password.
The CGC itself will be held on April 18th, Sunday, from 11.00 to 16.00.
A link to the CGC documentation will be available here on Saturday from 15.00, for review.
So what will the CGC be this year?
This will be a real-time strategy, a bit similar to the game in Starcraft for Terrans. Each computer opponent will have a base and the ability to build a large number of units of various capacities for the crystals assembled by special units. Those. unlike all the CGCs, which I saw, where you control basically one unit, here the number of units on each side can be quite impressive, and of a different type. Massive bloody battles are inevitable :) We will not disclose further details yet.

Unfortunately, our CGC supports only C ++, so we apologize to those who do not write it, but they will not be able to participate. Also, those who do not use Windows, also will not be able to participate, because Dll-ok mechanism is used.
The show will be held twice. Once - only for the Volgograd teams on April 30th, at the close of the open cup. The second time is for all teams, if, of course, there will be nonresident participants.
For the second show, we’ll make a video and post it on youtube. This, of course, is not the best way, if someone tells you how to set up an image broadcast on any server that
It will take parallel to relay it for everyone to watch the show online - then we will try. We cannot relay ourselves with a large number of participants, we do not have such a wide channel.
