Using the desktop computer to organize the flow of projects in the work

Make a desktop computer an interesting and illustrative tool for planning work. Project icons (shortcuts) are simply located on the desktop in accordance with the project status. Immediately you can see where the project is located. Actually for those who have a lot of projects at the same time.

I've been using it for a month, it really helps. How do you use your desktop?
PS: laid out only 1280x1024, I think if someone is useful, it is better to do for themselves. PPS: it’s better to keep shortcuts on the desktop, and let the project folders live where they should live.
