Independent study of circuitry

I decided to write a series of articles that should help to figure out on my own the subject of circuitry. The first part is introductory, it tells about the main disciplines that should be studied to understand the principles of design and construction of electrical circuits. If you like this article, the theme will evolve, attention will focus on the nuances and examples.

To start learning it is necessary to study three main disciplines :
1. Basics of electrical engineering
2. Theoretical foundations of electronics
3. Automaton Theory

Everything is as scary as it seems at first glance.

The first point is necessary to understand the principles of working with electricity (In this subject, the basics of the calculation of electrical circuits are studied).
The second point is the same as the first, but more in-depth. Here particular examples of basic electronic devices will be considered, through their electrical circuits.
The third point is a very important discipline that considers electrical circuits in terms of their logic of operation. This discipline is an introductory part of the course circuitry and examines the basic logic elements, the principles of the construction of schematic diagrams, the processes occurring in the circuits and much more.

How to study these disciplines?
It is worth studying them according to the VUZ textbooks, combining with each other. Those. it is worth starting the study of OE and TA courses in parallel, and then proceed to the study of TOE and circuit design. After a few weeks, you will be able to develop simple logic circuits yourself and understand the work of more complex ones. Of course, we should not forget about the practice, it is necessary to place special emphasis on it. Solve problems, learn electrical and schematic diagrams.

What books will be needed in the learning process?
Any textbook for higher educational institutions will go to study electrical engineering and electronics. (As an example A. A. Bessonov "Theoretical Foundations of Electrical Engineering")
Automata theory can be studied using the textbook of the same name by Yu. G. Karpov

Software :
In the course of training, programs such as
Electronic workbench
The old program for the construction of electrical circuits. A demo version with a limited number of permissible elements per sheet will be used for training. The program can be used to study the course of the theory of automata, and to test problems in electrical engineering.

P-CAD
It will be used at the final stages of training for distributing elements on a printed circuit board.
