Nokia's new QWERTY backgrounds: C3, C6, E5

Nokia has announced the launch of its new phones for fans of QWERTY-keyboards.

Nokia C3

The first QWERTY background on the Series 40 platform.
On board:

• Wi-Fi;
• 2 Mpx camera;
• QVGA 2.4 "display;
• Bluetooth 2.1;
• 55 MB of internal memory;
• 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM / EDGE;
• Support for microSD-cards up to 8 GB.

On sale in the second quarter of 2010 from 90 euros.
Three colors are available: gold white, gray and pink.


Nokia C6

Side slider smartphone based on simbian (S60 5th edition).
On board:

• Wi-Fi;
• 5 Mpx camera;
• nHD (640 x 360) 3.2 "display;
• FM radio;
• support for microSD-cards up to 16 GB;
• A-GPS and free navigation Ovi Maps;
• Bluetooth 2.1;
• 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM / EDGE and 850/900/1900/2100 HSDPA / UMTS;
• announced up to 7 hours of conversation in the GSM-network.

On sale in the second quarter of 2010 from 220 euros.


Nokia E5

Replacement for E71 / E72: 2 mm thinner and 2 g lighter.

QWERTY-background based on symbian (S60 3rd edition).

• A-GPS and free navigation Ovi Maps;

• announced up to 18 hours of conversation in the GSM network;
• announced up to 29 days in standby mode in the GSM network.

On sale in the third quarter of 2010 from 180 euros.
