Carefully, under the cut a lot of photos.

First, it all started with a plenary report, during which a large number of speakers spoke and presented on slightly different aspects of the new studio, SQL Server 2008 R2, Silverlight 4 and related tools.

Multi-touch capabilities, support for new interfaces, advanced features of SharePoint, support in Visual Studio and Linq for SharePoint were demonstrated. Plans were announced for the sale of SQl Server 2008 R2, which can be ordered in May. They showed how it became more convenient to work with TSQL in VS2010 through IntelliSense and debugging procedures. Marat Bakirov told about the new features of the Entity Framework 4.

Then Sitronics took the floor and spoke about the capabilities of the testers tool - Test and Lab Managment. An important aspect of development - team development, is also not overlooked in the new studio. This was told by Roman Zdebsky, Vladimir Gusarov and Dmitry Andreev. They talked about the capabilities of Visual Studio 2010 and the new version of Team Foundation Server 2010, which help the team to work more efficiently. Many have told and just how with the help of Test and Lab Managment the testing process in a large team becomes easier and more efficient.

The plenary report was only the beginning of the event. Numerous guests were waiting for three streams of reports on a variety of topics, as well as a report from a guest star - Brian Harry - the team leader of the Team Foundation Server development team.
In total, the following reports were read at the launch:

To the credit of the organizers, it is imperative to note that all three streams were broadcast online. Anyone who missed the conference could watch the plenary and all other reports in three video streams in a convenient player in their browser. Broadcasting reminded me of a TV, it was also convenient to switch channels from one broadcast to a friend choosing interesting topics for myself. Next was a twitter feed with comments from participants and others on the # vs2010launch tag.

Since the launch of Visual Studio 2010 in Russia was among the first in the global launch around the world and earlier than a similar event was held in the states, access to new applications and servers was not immediately open. Only in the evening after the main event in Las Vegas, Microsoft laid out in public access all the tools that were discussed in the reports.
You can get access to new tools and start learning about them at the following links:
Conclusion
In general, the launch of a new studio in Russia was a success. A lot of reports, information and new tools. Full room participants. Live video streaming in three streams simultaneously. Microsoft had a great event.
And this is not the end. April 14, a similar start, with a slightly smaller scale, will occur in St. Petersburg, and on April 16 in Yekaterinburg. Details on the
